In November 2018, I created and installed this fireplace surround in a home with a subtle color palette. The client had a lot of off-cuts from their pale grey ceramic backsplash, and I had collected a ton of random tile over the years. So I added other shades of grey, some metal tiles, black, white, and some soft greens. The result is a geometric design with intersecting circles cut throughout. I have to say, it looks so much nicer in person than in my photos.
