The Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA) is hosting a Fall 2021 Virtual Artist Gathering the weekend of Sept. 25/26. There will be artist talks and workshops, including my class covering the nuts and bolts of using stained glass as a mosaic medium. This is a 6-hour Zoom class, so rather than building it around a project, I’ll be demonstrating and lecturing various techniques and approaches. I’ll talk about tools, glass scoring, glass-on-glass and opaque projects, with tips and tricks for using stained glass. Students can work along or watch the whole presentation and take it from there. It will be interactive and packed with information.
