This summer, I filmed a new course at the Mosaic Arts Online HQ in Santa Barbara. This online class is a more thorough version of my in-person garden ornament workshops, with about 2 hours of detailed instruction. The course covers stepping stones made on pre-made concrete pavers, mosaic onto an orb shape or “gazing ball,” and has a quick demo on the indirect method for pouring concrete forms. It even includes an introduction to scoring stained glass.
This is the demo gazing ball made in the class. An example of a stepping stone made on a concrete paver.
The course includes a ton of information about appropriate substrates, materials and adhesives, pdfs, and even a quick tutorial on turning a polystyrene ball into a substrate for mosaic by Tami Macala. I really tried to pack in as much information as possible.
To celebrate the launch of this new course, there is a 10% discount for a short time. To learn more and get the discount, go to this link: https://mosaicartsonline.com/p/garden-mosaic-for-any-climate-with-jennifer-kuhns/?coupon_code=GARDEN10
