1889 Magazine is a Washington State style magazine, and issues will soon be on the shelves of all of the usual places. I plan to stop by Barnes & Noble next time I’m in Olympia. I didn’t even know about the magazine until they reached out last winter, but now that I’m aware of it, I’ve subscribed because they include great ideas for hikes, festivals, events and businesses here in Washington.

For me, the second magazine is even more exciting because it’s the international Mosaic & Glass Magazine, so it will be distributed all over the world. And I’m in the company of some of my mosaic heroes in this issue! It is an amazing feeling to be included in a publication alongside Laurel True, Caitlin Hepworth, Matthew Small, Darcel Deneau, and many more. To order a copy for yourself, you can go to: https://mosaicandglass.com/ Also, the Society of American Mosaic Artists, in partnership with the Stained Glass Artists Association, has added the subscription to membership benefits, so if you are a SAMA member, you’ll receive a copy automatically.
