This is a great option for someone who wants to get into some detail on the nuts and bolts of mosaic. I will do my best to answer all of your questions about mosaic in one hour, whether you want to go over use of tools, the steps of a particular method, or even business of mosaic questions. The one topic I don’t feel qualified to address is realism in mosaic. It’s just too complex and I feel it requires deeper instruction. (Look for Carol Shelkin and Donna Van Hooser workshops – they are the best for this instruction.) Some people have expressed interest in watching me work on a project, talking through my process and answering questions. I usually request your specific questions in advance so that I can research and prepare, if necessary, and I’ll send you written and video resources as well so that we can get into more detail during our meeting.
We can meet via zoom, or if you are local, I welcome you for a studio visit. We’ll find a time that works for both of us.
