Kits will include a new 8″ x 8″ picture frame with clear glass, a scoring tool (you choose from Pistol, Comfort or Custom grip Toyo), Dragon Running Pliers and Breaker-Groziers, a 2.5 oz tube of Liquid Nails clear for Small Projects, popsicle sticks for spreading glue, 1/4 of a grout sponge, a small spatula for grouting. *I will also add as much scrap translucent stained glass as I can fit into the large flat rate box.
You will also need: Translucent stained glass, a dust mask, rubber gloves, grout, a pint-sized or so container for mixing grout, a larger container or bucket for water, dry lint-free rags. And a space to work where you can safely nip glass and mix messy grout. *I am not including grout in the kit due to the complication of keeping it in stock and packaging it securely. If this presents a problem for you, reach out. I will try to add some of whatever I have on hand.
Note: It is fine to purchase this kit without registering for the Mosaic Arts Online course or in-person workshop, as supplies last. You might already know what to do, but lack the ability to source tools and supplies. But the course covers instructions for creating a translucent glass mosaic suncatcher, along with tips and tricks for avoiding unsightly bubbles and grout bleed. AND it includes a bonus glass-on-mirror lesson.
