2018 Schedule
3/3: Opening of Chiaroscuro; Creating Shadows in Mosaic at Wallow Gallery, Carlton, OR. The exhibit will be on display through May.
4/27-28: Olympia Arts Walk: Wycinanki-style papercut designs at Hot Toddy in Olympia on Friday and Saturday. There will also be artwork by my teen students.
4/28, noon to 2pm: We will be celebrating 3 new mosaic sidewalk inlays in Downtown Olympia with a walk to each site, ending with MINE! I’m so excited to have this project, commemorating the life of Verne Eke (an instrumental figure in the development of performing arts in Olympia) right in front of the Washington Center.
May 21: Unveiling of a mural for the Mud Bay pet store’s HQ in downtown Olympia.
May 25-28: Installation of year-long project for the City of Bellingham, located along Maplewood Ave. in the Birchwood neighborhood.
June 14: Dedication of the Diversity Mural at Choice High School in Shelton, WA.

Aug. 10: I’ll be attending 60 Works in 60 Days, Joanne Daschel mosaics and Katia Kyte oil paintings, Lincoln City Cultural Center – Chessman Gallery 5-7pm (I encourage you to check it out!)

Mid to late Aug: Delivering and dedicating a memorial portrait of my Sister-in-Law to Palmdale, CA where it will be installed in a school library that is being dedicated to her. Actual dates TBD.

Friday, October 5/6: Fri. 5-10pm & Saturday, October 7 (Noon-5pm) Fall Arts Walk 2018 (Where will I be? I don’t know yet! Probably leading a community project at The Arbutus Folk School, but we are still working on details.)
